Rodia has been a successful industrial engineering consultant for more than 20 years specializing in high technology manufacturing facility design, engineering and commissioning, process engineering, and operations management. He has degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Technology. During his 50-year career, Carl has provided project management, engineering and business consulting services to more than 150 technology-based firms worldwide including 15 Fortune 500 companies. He managed the successful financing, establishment, and startup of high-technology manufacturing facilities on four continents and 11 countries. Before becoming an entrepreneurial businessman Carl was a senior engineering manager for CBS, Inc. and Motorola, Inc. He later founded and built 4 highly successful entrepreneurial manufacturing start-up companies: The Arts & Sciences Plating Company, Polyform, Inc., Carl M. Rodia & Associates, Inc., and Media Chemical Corporation. He is the inventor of the “In line” automated audio CD, CD-ROM, and DVD manufacturing method responsible for the rapid expansion of CD and CD-R manufacturing in the 1990s and still in use worldwide today.
